How did it go and do you notice any difficulties and challenges?
It actually happened quite naturally. My group and I just made everything individually. Looked at all the designs and took the best parts of them and put them together in a final design.

Of course I want to grow in this learning outcome. I want to learn how to make a design that is not only good for the user but also looks good.

How did it go and do you notice any difficulties and challenges?
For how far I am now it went well. I like coding and version control is really nice to use while coding for example if something goes wrong.

Yes, I probably want to be a developer when I'm done with my study so of course I want to grow in this learning outcome.

How did it go and do you notice any difficulties and challenges?
Sometimes I find it hard to listen to the opinion from people if they think my design doesn't look good. But it's just feedback to make it look better so I have to keep that in mind.
Do you want to grow in this learning outcome?
Yes, I like to make things and when people give their opinion about it I like to change it, or not, depends on if I like the changes or if I agree with them or not.

I think it went well. I like to work in a team and I like to help people. I also like to give my opinion about things and I like to hear the opinion of others.

Double diamond
What did we do?
We made a double diamond to show our process of the project.
Why did I do that?
We did this to show our process of the project and how we got to the final idea we have now. We also wanted to show the steps we took to get there and what we did in each step.
How did I do it?
With my group together I made a Double Diamond in Figma. We put all the steps we took in the double diamond and what we wanted to do in each step.
What were the results?
The result is the double diamond you see above. I think it looks really good and it shows our process of the project really well. I am really proud of it.
What did I learn and how will it help us in the next steps?
I learned that it's important to show your process of the project. This gives you a better insight of what you did and how you got there. This will help me in the next steps because I now know how to show my process of the project and how to get there.
Learning Outcome 5: Personal leadership.

How did it go and do you notice any difficulties and challenges?
I think it went well. I like to work in a team and I like to help people. I also like to give my opinion about things and I like to hear the opinion of others. I think I am a good team player and I can work well with others.

Playground Festival "The art department"
The reason I didn’t go to the art festival is because I had to pick up my sister from the hospital in Sittard because she got surgery and my parents couldn’t pick her up. And besides that, I prefer the development side and “The art department” doesn’t really sound like development.
Future and goals
What I want to be in the future is probably a developer. But I found out I also liked creating posters and stuff, asking feedback on it and implementing the feedback on the poster to make it perfect. I normally didn’t really like creating stuff like that but making the poster for our project was really fun. So probably something between these two things.
For my school career I really want to get better in JavaScript and understand everything I do. When I work with JavaScript I always find it impressive how it works and how you can make everything with it. How I can improve this skill is by practicing more with JavaScript and following more workshops about it. I think this will help me to understand it better and to get better in it.
Strengths and Weaknesses
I think one of my strenghts is that I am a good team player. I like to help my group where I can and give them feedback. I show everything I make to my group and ask them for feedback to make our project even better.
What I think I might need to improve is my lack of concentration. I sometimes get distracted very easily and forget to do my work and the deadline we have for it. I think I need to work on that and make sure I stay focused on my work and the deadlines we have so we finish everything on time.
Leadership
I don't really show leadership in my group. normally we decide what we still have to do and I choose one of the topics we still have to do and work on it by myself and show it after. This is a point I can and will also work on. I think I can show more leadership in my group by taking the lead in some tasks and making sure we finish everything on time. I can also help my group with their tasks and give them feedback on their work. I think this will help us to finish our project on time and make it even better.
Career day
I went to the career day and I thought it was really interesting. I learned a lot about different companies and what they do. I think it is really interesting what you can do after the study. I also looked at different professions I can do and I found front end development the most interesting. My preference was already front end or design but I went to both of them and I choose front end because this caught my attention more.
I think career days are good to see what you want to do in the future and of course for internship.
Feedback
I got a lot of feedback from coaches on our project. some feedback was very useful and we could use this on our project. Other feedback wasn't that useful but we still listened and took it into account. it's important to listen to feedback and to use the things you think is important to improve the project. From our group I mostly took the responsibility to fill in the FeedPulses on Canvas, because everytime we got a feedback moment I wrote everything down so I could write it in FeedPulse.
I also got some feedback on my portfolio. Things I still have to add etc. Which was very useful to pass the semester. I made a checklist on my phone so I wouldn't forget the things I still had to add and this really helped me.
